Diamante Poblano Restaurant: Authentic Mexican Delights in the Bronx

Amazing! The vegetable burrito is so good! It had mushrooms, zucchini, tomato, rice and beans, cheese, and lettuce. Chiefs kiss 5 stars!

My sister & I wanted some good real authentic Mexican food yesterday so we decided to try this place out. It's right on Fordham the 4 train is so close to it. I will say the food is amazing 2 thumbs up. The service was fast and there's a jutbox my sister played 4 Selena quintanilla songs for a 1$ lol we saw other patrons ordering buckets of beer. Overall the service was great and the food is amazing so good. Will go back again. We got 2 burritos and chips and guacamole with 4 drinks came out to 63$ gratuity was included since it was Saturday. It was worth the price and service.

This is one of the better mexican places in the area. Amazing torta de pollo a la milanesa . fast delivery. We were impressed .

The food was very good. I would like to give this place 5 stars but I think there is a lot to improve in terms of customer service.This was my first time visiting this place so I will give it another try.

Good Mexican food, a little more pricey than I'm used to for Mexican though. I got Bistec a la Mexicana. Very tasty beef, squash, onions, and jalepenos. Pretty spicy, so if you don't like spicy don't get this dish. I enjoy spicy food but it was pretty hot. I asked for sour cream on the side to cool it a little, but It was very delish and not unbearably spicy. Service was good, they brought out chips and salsa. I though the chips were a little stale, though they tasted homemade, so maybe if you catch it when they're fresh it would be better. Over all good, and they accept credit cards unlike most of the other Mexican restaurants in the area.

Was looking for a place to have lunch during my lunch break, finally found one. Great food, great service. The products seem fresh and the handmade tortilla is just delicious. Will def come back here, found my place

Went into get two caldos de Pollos . Can I just say ... It hit the spot ! It was just what I needed for the cold I had. This is not your open the can kind of soup. This is your"grandma's" soup. Packed with veggies and chicken. They also give you the option of tortilla or toasted bun/roll. I went with the bread. And a side of a lot onions with cilantro to keep pouring into your soup. To drink we ordered their authentic Mexican sodas : JARRITOS. Flavor tamarind. Hard to describe but is very Delish and soft. Ambiance: Loud , VERY LOUD. This is more of your lets go drink beer and be rowdy kind of place. If you are not coming comfortable having a table of drunk people three tables down. Don't go. It's a cool hangout with good food.
